UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking to expand its Lawrenceville campus in order to accommodate its Heart Institute’s growing needs. The addition, which is still in the planning phase, is expected to provide the necessary space to support the Heart Institute’s clinical, research, and educational endeavors. Once completed, the expansion will also offer state-of-the-art equipment and technology to treat children with heart conditions. The new facility will be located adjacent to the current hospital building and is expected to be completed within the next few years.
