The NSS Cell of GCE organised a sanitising training programme on National Dengue Day to prevent the spread of the disease. NSS incharge Dr Ravneet Chawla thanked the members for their support and participation. Dengue is a mosquito-borne disease prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. It is important to take necessary measures to prevent the spread of the virus, as it can lead to severe complications, even death. The programme aimed to educate students and staff on how to keep the surroundings clean and mosquito-free. Proper sanitation can help in reducing the mosquito population and the risk of dengue transmission.
