Fox penned an op-ed in USA Today praising a newly developed and highly accurate spinal fluid test for detecting Parkinson’s disease as “one of the most significant Parkinson’s breakthroughs in decades.” The test was developed by the biotech company Seer, which “has created a platform for identifying proteins and uncovering the dynamic changes in molecular networks that underlie the progression of disease,” according to Fox. The test will allow for earlier diagnosis and better treatment for those with Parkinson’s.
