A lost chapter of the Bible, written around 1,750 years ago, has been discovered by a researcher. The long-lost hidden chapter is a close translation of the Gospel of Mark, found on an animal-skin parchment reused in the binding of an ancient book. The text may be one of the earliest complete copies of a Gospel that we now have in our possession. The rediscovered chapter was initially found by German scholar Constantin von Tischendorf in a monastery in Egypt, however, it was never officially published or made available for public viewing. The text is currently being studied to offer a greater understanding of early Christianity.
