NASA has revealed that a supermassive black hole is hurtling through the universe at a speed that could pose a threat. The “runaway” black hole was said to be travelling at an astonishing speed – one that had never before been seen. The black hole, which was many times the size of the sun, had already consumed everything in its surrounding galaxy before going rogue. NASA has dubbed it the “invisible monster” and warned that it could prove to be a dangerous threat should it come into contact with any other matter, such as stars or planets. The space agency has alerted astronomers across the globe to keep an eye out for the speedy black hole.
