Marvel Studios recently celebrated the birthday of Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The studio posted a photo of Downey Jr. alongside a caption that read “Happy Birthday to the one man who started it all”. Downey Jr. played a vital role in the success of the MCU and was among the highest paid actors in Hollywood. Despite his popularity, he hasn’t appeared in any MCU project after his character’s demise in Avengers: Endgame. Nevertheless, fans have continuously and eagerly expressed their desire to see Downey Jr. return to the big screen as Iron Man in future MCU projects.
