In March, India will witness the launch of several cars, including the sixth generation Honda City and Hyundai Verna. These two arch rivals in the compact sedan segment are expected to revive their rivalry with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Volkswagen Virtus. Additionally, there will be an electric vehicle, a CNG car and a MPV launched in India. Honda City will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns out 121 hp of power and 145 Nm of peak torque. Hyundai Verna will be powered by a 1.5 Turbo petrol engine that is capable of generating 113 bhp of power and 144 Nm of peak torque. Citroen eC3 will be the first electric car launched by the French carmaker and will be powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG will offer a fuel efficiency of 25 kms per kg and will be the first to offer CNG in the sub-compact SUV segment. Lastly, Toyota Innova Crysta will be powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine that is likely to generate 148 bhp of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque.
