The All India Senior Selection Panel has named the ODI Squad against Australia. The ODI Series between the two nations is going to begin on 17th March. Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the first ODI due to family commitments and Hardik Pandya will lead the side. The selectors surprisingly have named Jaydev Unadkat in the squad whereas the wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson is yet to recover from injury. This ODI Series would serve as an ideal preparation for ODI WC 2023. There’s still a cloud over Jasprit Bumrah and it would be interesting to see whether he takes part in IPL 2023. India has named 5 spinners in the squad: Kuldeep Yadav, Jadeja, Sundar, Axar & Chahal. It looks like the selectors have made up their minds that Shikhar Dhawan won’t take part in ODIs anymore after Shubman Gill’s brilliant performance against New Zealand.
