Vivek Ramaswamy declared his candidacy by stating that he is running for president to revive ideals in the country and put ‘merit’ back into ‘America’. He asserted that his campaign is about the unapologetic pursuit of excellence in the country and believes in merit and success based on the individual’s character and contributions.
