Tata Motors recorded a YoY positive growth of 18 per cent in January 2023 with a total of 47,990 units as compared to 40,780 units in the same period last year. Tata Nexon topped the sales charts with a domestic tally of 15,567 units, showing a YoY increase of 13 per cent from 13,816 units in the corresponding period in 2022. Punch micro SUV was the second most sold model with 12,006 unit sales, followed by Tiago compact hatch with 9,032 units. The Altroz and Tigor finished in fourth and fifth positions respectively. Tata will launch the CNG versions of Punch and Altroz in India while the Curvv and Harrier EV will arrive in 2024.
