Overwatch 2 is set to introduce interesting changes to its monetization system with its upcoming Season 3. It will reintroduce Overwatch Credits, an integral part of the monetization system that prevailed in the 2016 game. With Overwatch Credits coming into the picture, players will soon be able to earn their way to premium cosmetics. All epic and legendary skins from before the game’s launch will be available for purchase in the Hero Gallery throughout the year and the cost of legendary skins will also be reduced. Players can use Overwatch Coins or Credits to buy such skins and can even earn up to 1500 Overwatch Credits for free every season. Blizzard also promises to add more updates to the monetization system in the future depending on popular community feedback.
