Wipro has recently announced the termination of 452 freshers due to poor performance in internal assessment tests. The termination letter sent to the freshers stated that despite adequate training, they have failed to perform. The company also asked the freshers to repay a training fee of Rs 75,000, but later waived off the amount. Wipro stated that the evaluation process is systematic and comprehensive, and is followed by a series of actions such as mentoring, retraining and separation of employees from the company.

Wipro has sacked over 400 freshers due to poor performance. Freshers impacted by Wipro Layoffs 2023 were also asked to repay the training fees of Rs 75,000, but this fee has now been waived off. The IT Giant has issued termination letters to all the employees impacted by the layoffs.
